About the author.

A retired aerospace engineer with more than 30 years of experience in systems analysis and design, Cas was introduced to philosophy while obtaining his engineering degree at the Catholic University of America. He continued to study metaphysics. This combined background qualified him to write these books. He worked on the design of the B-52 bomber for Boeing and on the preliminary designs of missiles for General Dynamics. He was happily married to his wife, Emily, for almost 70 years.

Cas completed his lifetime in 2018, in the middle of his 96^th year, while working on a fifth book. He is undoubtedly perparing for his next lifetime. He was a good man, in every nuance of the term, and is missed by all who knew him.
